The BarSoft NetWare community new look has taken some time but it is up and running. The new site will bring more to update dynamic data. Due to the increased size of the new look compared to the old look, there is not a lot of data as of right now. This will change daily and lead to a site packed with large amount of great data.
The Community is here to spread information and knowledge in regards to the Information Technology industry. While also providing an outlet for my personal experience and know how. |

The solution to my Windows ActiveDirectory problem.
I got side tracked from posting the fix due to the redesign of Editor-Review. The redesign is completed and now back to my articles, well at least for now.

An endeavorer at work to deploy Windows Active Directory servers for nearly a 1000 servers has brought me a challenge. The intent is to bring all company servers in the field under one domain and have the ability to authenticate against another domain in the same forest. The authentication is working but the login time takes 2-3 minutes when authenticating against parent domain.
